Dhanush’s Jagame Thandhiram Will Release Only In Theatres, Confirm Makers

Ever since Suriya announced that Soorari Pottru will have an OTT release in October, there has been a buzz that many other Tamil films, which features big heroes, will follow the OTT route.

With buzz doing the rounds that Dhanush’ s Jagame Thandhiram will also be released on an OTT platform, the film’s producer Sashikanth S, took to his social media to rubbish the rumours.

In his post, he said that the entire team is waiting to see Dhanush go Rakita Rakita on the big screen soon. He also added that one shouldn’t believe in rumours.

He said, “#Jagamethendiram... Jagam is still healing & not back to normal. Until then, be patient for the theatres to open & don’t believe in rumours. The entire team is waiting to see @dhanushkraja go #rakitarakita on a big screen soon. Just #chillbro.”

With this news being out, fans started trending the hashtag #WeWantJTOnTheatres. Jagame Thandhiram, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, is an action thriller, which has Dhanush in the lead role. The film has James Cosmo, Aiswarya Lekshmi and Joju George in the lead. The music is by Santhosh Narayanan, and the first single from the film, Rakita Rakita Rakita was released recenty.
