Intergenerational Youth Camp

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of Austin collaborated with SAIVA for the first time this summer, to organize the Kids Summer Camp at the Temple.

The seniors from SAIVA taught the children yoga, singing, and various art and craft activities.

The seniors came in every week to the camp with a lot of enthusiasm and new ideas.

They enjoyed teaching and participating in activities with the kids.

Likewise, the children looked forward to new activities each week.

It was wonderful to see all the seniors getting to meet their other senior friends and being actively involved with the children.

On behalf of the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of Austin’s Executive Committee, we would like to thank the SAIVA volunteers and seniors for helping organize the Kids Summer Camp and creating experiences for the children to cherish.

We hope to collaborate with SAIVA again in the coming years, and make the Kids Summer Camp a tradition at the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of Austin.
