‘Saand Ki Aankh’ Box Office Collection: The Taapsee Pannu And Bhumi Pednekar Starrer Fares Poorly In

Tushar Hiranandani directorial ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles has fared poorly at the box office in its first weekend.

The film clashed at the box office with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Housefull 4’ and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Saand Ki Aankh’.

However, the film has a decent chance to hold on post- Diwali.

As per the latest report in the Boxofficeindia.com, on Sunday, the film has managed to rake in a total of Rs 95 lakh on its third day at the box office.

The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 2.50 crore in its first weekend at the box office.

The film cannot be completely written off as there is a decent underlying trend in the metros.

The film is expected to bring in decent numbers post the Diwali weekend and could hold at low levels for a week or two.

The film portrays the inspirational life of the world’s oldest sharpshooters - Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. The film has been critically praised as well. ‘

Saand Ki Aankh’ was declared tax free by Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan government.

Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, ‘Saandh Ki Aankh’ also stars Prakash Jha, Vineet Kumar, and Shaad Randhawa in pivotal roles.

The film is produced by Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar and hit the theatres on October 25.
