Megastar Chiranjeevi was recently honoured with the Indian Film personality of the year tiitle at the 53rd International Film Festival of India.
He is regarded as one of the most successful and influential actors of Indian cinema.
Chiranjeevi made his acting debut with the 1978 hit film Punadhirallu. He then went on to star in several big-budget Telugu films, most of which turned out to be box-office success. In a career spanning of over four decades, he has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades including 10 filmfare awards and 4 Nandi awards.
The superstar is currently awaiting the release of two films - Bobby’s ‘Walter Veerayya’, and Meher Ramesh’s ‘Bholaa Shankar’, which is the Telugu remake of the Tamil superhit film, ‘Vedalam’.
