Hindu Charities for America (HC4A) has made a significant impact this year by awarding over $50,000 in vocational scholarships to organizations dedicated to helping individuals living below the federally defined poverty line in the Austin metro area.
The 2025 Scholarship Award Ceremony took place at Round Rock City Hall, led by Will Williams and hosted by HC4A Founder Harish Kotecha and President Alok Singh.
The event was attended by the Round Rock City Manager, donors, volunteers and recipient organizations.
The event celebrated the scholarship recipients and acknowledged the generous donors who made these funds possible.
HC4A actively seeks organizations that provide students with essential non-educational support and help them secure high-paying jobs.
Since its inception in 2023, HC4A has distributed nearly $800,000 in scholarships (over 800 scholarships), enabling many families to improve their living conditions through this collaborative effort.
Here are some remarks from the recipient organizations:
“Thanks to the generosity of HC4A, our community is cultivating a talented, skilled workforce.
Our students can concentrate on their studies with the assistance of your scholarships, enabling them to earn degrees or certificates.” - Austin Community College.
“We take pride in our partnership with HC4A. We are grateful for the tremendous support they provide!
Our work would not be possible without organizations like HC4A!” - Jamie, Community Foundation.
One of the donors said, “I had no idea about the profound impact of the work that HC4A is doing!” – Rohit Patel.
HC4A has consistently made strides over the years.
